There are 3 ways to get from Navan to Castlebar by bus, train or car

In all we were a group of 20 people ranging in ages from the old to the very young and there was a worry that not all age groups could be entertained and occupied at all times. Now we can move to the houses themselves. Very often places are sold with hugely enhanced photos that disappoint a little when we see the real thing. But not Lough Lannnagh Village!!! It far exceeded my expectations.

Houses were spotless and very cosy. Bedrooms were huge with a very roomy ensuite. They were bright and airy and the beds were very comfortable. As our crowd was so big I thought we would have difficulty catering for everyone in the one house for evening dinner and for socialising afterwards but that was not the case. We had some memorable times there, tired after long days' activities and relaxed into the small hours. All this was made possible by Paul and his staff. They had the perfect balance of not being obviously present but appeared at the drop of a hat when needed, surely the mark of a professionally run place.

Paul and his staff are a joy to deal with and nothing is a problem when it comes to helping with information or just the use of tennis rackets etc.. Cant recommend this enough and will definitely be back hopefully for a longer stay this time. Date of stay: August Rooms. Sleep Quality.

This inspector visits Lough Lannagh Caravan Park every year and inspects the campsite on the basis of more than amenities and other points of interest. The inspector is an ACSI staff member and does not work for the campsite. Because of corona the campsite is currently closed.
